Eating was just okay. our cocktail was great. services were confusing. I could not really say who our waitress was because we saw 3 people

We met some friends visiting from the city for dinner at the Commons Club, as our initial choice was fully booked, and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating. Our server was excellent, and the food was quite enjoyable. It was the ideal spot for a gathering with friends, and the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous.

Our server was very sweet and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and apologizing for the delay with our drink order. However, I never saw a manager, even though they were checking on tables. The food itself also did not justify the price. While the gnocchi was excellent, my side dishes were cold, and my mother’s dish was dry and lacking in flavor. Additionally, the dessert cake was quite bland and seemed a bit stale, as if it had been taken out of the freezer. I’m not sure if the food was prepared in advance for the holiday or if there simply wasn't enough staff to properly execute the meal, but I was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. I have always held a high opinion of the Virgin brand and its associations, but for a special meal like this, my mother and I were left wanting a much more immersive and enjoyable dining experience. I hope that next year, more thought and effort will be put into the service for guests and the value they receive for their money, especially during such a festive occasion.

We had an early brunch in the bartender was really great, very nice and attentive. the atmosphere, the seating and the whole mood are fantastic. unfortunately our eating was very easy. the presentation was missing and the breakfast stuffs were very obviously frozen, reheated. stir eggs were darkened, under seasoned. the speck was beautiful and crispy, but it was nothing I would not have gotten in a hotel continental breakfast. my friend got the chicken tsar and breakfast coffins and said the same about their meal. I will try the commons club again because the service and the staff was top notch, but for cocktails in the evening instead of their food.

It’s Christmas Eve and I wanted a steak! The menu had EVERYTHING I was craving. The ambience was nice, the room was lovely and the staff were attentive and friendly. The cocktails and the food were perfect
