Athens Family Restaurant - Nashville

Nothing terrible imagination, but the hen was juicy and tender and the hummus was well done. so much oregano.

Great little restaurant, they live the color scheme on the outside and they were presented a few times in the food network. Don't ask me why, but this place just didn't do it for me. the gyro was good, the waitress was friendly. something just seemed to look away from this place. only the opinion of a person.

Re bellevue restaurant. really good!. wow, we are new in the opposite and so happy that we are here! my man got the lamb of the day a braided lambship over rice, with carrots, celery and wobbles. it also came with a simple, Greek salate. the lamb was so tasteful and tender, all for $9.00! I have the homemade spanakopita that contain the above salate. I have cost many variations of this plate and this is the first where there is absolutely no bitterness from the plentiful spinach, grateful, not a heavy hand with feta, only pure taste and flocty phyllo! the hummus was smooth and lemony, the tzatziti, while tasty, needed more gurke. oh and you can read your own bottle...read more

Greek and a lot more. this restaurant at the 8th avenue south in nashville describes itself as Greek. it has a lot of Greek oriented, but there is also a hearty lunch breakfast menu from which they choose. both my spouse and I chose the gyro platter, and it is as good a court as I ever had in a typical Greek restaurant in the usa. our only difference was that I have chosen to have their spezialkartoffeln, and she had the rice first, I ordered her suppe of the day, a creamy potato style suppe with what tasted like rosmarin maybe some other seasoned. it was salted properly, and I would certainly reorder the lamb discs were cooked properly again and...read more

Awesome food. Awesome service. Reasonable prices. This is the most under-appreciated local place in Bellevue!
