It's not glamorous at all, BUT the food is good... Value for money (especially if you are hungry). What I love in this place (and I have for many years) is the warm welcome of Paulette. It's like visiting your favorite aunt. She makes all the service and the hustle and bustle, always with a smile and a feeling that she is responsible, you are always in good hands. The drinks are expensive 5 euros for a soft drink, but honestly, that never prevented me from having wine instead! Better to get a bottle for 18 euros than half for 12 but either, it usually works around 25 per person overall. The children's menu is indeed very generous, and looks like the son of my friend had a beautiful burger in a bungalow with many frits. Not the cheap insipid beige nuggets on most places. Even if you do not mind eating style, it is cheaper and you can still sit on the side of the kiosk. I really like the simplicity of the place and the lack of trend. I'm sick of all the beach bars in the area where you never feel very welcome (if you're a relationship of the mayor or something).
Fantastic service, okay, so there are no loos that they are not except cards, but for everything that is missing, this is formed by the excellent team of Paulette and Pierrot. If you want service with proper plates, then pay a bit extra, but the views and dedication of Paulette and Pierrot are the same on the snack side for less money. This season they had a creepy waiter on the restaurant side, but usually you get Paulette who is excellent and never forget. You're not hungry. A great place on a beautiful beach. Merci Paulette!
Good honest cafe on the beach, massive portions and double burgers hope you 've got a big appetite sonny! Paninis great, chips, tomatoes and mozzarella when you feel healthy. Good service and cold beer. In case you were wondering Pain American is two burgers with salad... next to a French stick with chips above! As you appreciate, fine food it ain't, but eat a cheap when hungry it fits the bill.
You should describe Chez Pierrot as Quirky. It seems to run from a couple, and madame is responsible for the service, which seems pretty slow when they are busy. The portions are very large and the place is good for meat eaters....Good Moule Friten also. However, the beverage prices are noticeable, 2€ for a coffee, 3€ for a beer or a glass of wine and expensive soft drinks.
