Taverna Luciana - Napoli

My partner and I visited this restaurant for lunch following a visit to the nearby museums. Although the street a little while down was dirty we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and attractive the restaurant was. We were able to get a reservation, which we found quite rare for restaurants in Naples, so we were happy to have that security on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. The staff were very polite and welcoming and even gave us each a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The menu was quite big with lots of options to choose from and even better, they had an English translation/explanation for each dish below the Italian name. When ordering, our server also made sure that we knew what it was we were ordering so we had peace of mind with what came out. I had the Calamaro starter with the mussel soup (Luciana style) as a main, and my partner had French fries starter and bufalina pizza main. Our food was excellent and very filling, and we had a lovely experience. Definitely recommend.

Amazing tradicional food! Great people always with a smile and cute guy waitress. Aperol Spritz is the best and the pasta, mamamia!

Recommended by my B&B, I went twice for dinner to this restaurant. One night I had pizza and thought it better than the more popular spots in Naples. The other night I had the full course and was very happy. Staff were awesome very friendly to a solo traveler.

Abbiamo cenato alla taverna Lucian e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Il personale era estremamente gentile, sempre pronto ad accontentare ogni nostra esigenza, professionale e in grado di darci ottimi consigli. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccezionale. Il servizio è stato molto veloce e il cibo era semplicemente perfetto.

Pizza ben cotta e gustosa, personale cordiale, ottima anche la zuppa di cozze. Molto raccomandato, nonostante la posizione sulla strada.
