Had the steak prime tartare, there are only a few places in all of the greater Naples area that has it on their menu. The Kung Poa Seafood was especially good: grouper, scallop, calamari, shrimp, bell pepper, chili, cardamom-jasmine rice The ambience is unique in Naples, this is a hidden gem tucked away off 3rd St and 5th St South in the Escalante Hotel, it’s like stepping back in time to a comfortable, familiar place.
Food was delicious, extremely limited menu! Didn’t realize that when I made the reservation.Sat in the courtyard area. Which happens to be a beautiful environment inside the boutique hotel. The disappointing part about the evening was flies kept flying in my wine. Mentioned it to the waiter. He seem baffled. I asked if he could replace my wine. Never got a replacement wine. I asked if I could get a cover, to cover my wine. And he brought a couple napkins, with no replacement wine. I was shocked.
Went To Veranda E for Valentine’s Day had the tortellini app, crunchy grouper entree, and peach cobbler dessert. Food and ambiance were amazing our waitress was awesome will definitely be back ??
Dining area is incredible. Waste of an amazing area. Kitchen is the absolute worst I've ever seen in my entire 27+ year career. I will suggest all visit Sails, Delmar, Ichi Togarashi or LA Trattoria instead of Veranda E.
We had dinner with friends for the first time. We found the setting very special as you ate around the pool with beautiful vegetation and lighting. The menu was fine but not extensive. The wine list had some nice offerings but again not extensive. The service was good, not great. They did not come by very often. The food itself was fine, maybe average. Presentation was good, but nothing seemed special. Especially for these prices. Overall, it is a pretty place that is on the expensive side for food that is fine.
