Bistronomy Vinotech - Napier

I dined here last night after hearing great reviews, and I was not disappointed! We opted for the chef's six-course tasting menu with wine pairings. Both the food and the wines were perfectly matched, with standout dishes being the cured kingfish accompanied by prickly pear sorbet and the milk-fed lamb. The portion sizes were just right. The waitstaff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about both the food and the wine! The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and a lively atmosphere. I will definitely be returning!

The menu may be small, but it's thoughtfully curated and absolutely perfect. I recommend starting with the chicken wings; they're truly delicious. I particularly loved the lamb dish paired with the brussels sprouts. For dessert, we decided to sample a few options from the menu, and the honey dessert and the Isaac Hayes were the standout favorites. This restaurant is a delightful gem in Napier!

Outstanding restaurant! It's one of the best I've ever visited in the country. The cocktails are fantastic, and the food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented.

OMG certainly lives up to the eat modern ethos. No fuss faultless service, the food was amazing and would sit alongside some of the best I have eaten, wine match complemented superbly. Fine Dining without pretentiousness- Eat modern and pop into Bistronomy.

Absolutely superb! Was fully booked, but found room for us at the bar. I'd recommend sitting there anyway. It gave us the chance to interact with the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I cannot give more than 5*, unfortunately!
