Beautiful, relaxing and warm. The towel they sell ¥500) is pretty small, so you might want to bring your own, but they have a hairdryer available too, so no worries
The perfect finale for a visit to Naoshima. You have a lovely hot soak, surrounded by art. The staff is great and kind and does speak English. Towels can be purchased and when leaving you are even offered a plastic bag to take it with you. The place is clean and in all it's quirkiness extremely will tended for.
Don't let the gaudy exterior fool you. It may look like something from a red light district, but this is a beloved (and wholesome) public bath with kitchy artwork by famous artist Shinro Otake. Well okay, if you look real closely, some of the images at the bottom of the pool are kind of naughty. But other than that, this is a wholesome public bath with standard facilities and really nice people running it.
Really lovely bathhouse. The owners are super kind and welcoming. You can buy tickets, towels, other amenities from a vending machine. The bath itself was a very different vibe from a traditional bathhouse but I appreciated it.
