This restaurant is a hidden gem. The down home cooking is fantastic! The staff is friendly and talkative. It brought back memories of a small diner in my hometown. I will definitely be returning to this place. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it. I would give it more stars if I could. Can't wait for my next visit.

Whenever I visit, I always enjoy the amazing food and excellent service at this restaurant. If you're a fan of a traditional cup of tea made with real tea leaves, served in a China pot with a knitted tea cosy, along with scones topped with jam and cream, then this is the place for you. Additionally, the homemade craft shop next door offers beautifully made gifts for people of all ages. Cheers from Charlie, mention my name when you visit!

Big tasty meals for cheap prices. Thank you to the volunteers who run this place and make it welcoming for regulars and guests.

Always a good cheaper meal. Homemade deserts are a specialists worth coming for. Service is friendly and usually quick abit too often a mistake is made but they quickly change eg fresh bread instead of toasted. Beetroot served when requested no beetroot. I guess as the staff are all volunteers its hard to get consistency 's . Seating available both indoors on air conditioning or outside on the footpath. Often the daily newspaper is available to read along with out of date magazines women). The only issue I have in supporting them is where does the money end up given the Red Cross 's past poor history in the tsunami appeal and also looks like the Bushfire appeal is headed that way with at least $11m allocated for administration and openly saying looking long term while people still live in tents existing on community donations.
