Emerald Garden - Nairobi

This is one of the best restaurants I've visited in the wider Gigiri area. The presentation, service, and delivery are all exceptional. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist whenever needed. What’s more, they truly seem to enjoy their work, displaying the right attitude and consistently being cheerful. The food is outstanding and served in generous portions. Great team!

One of my personal favorites, and a must-try, is the Tom Kha chicken soup, which strikes the perfect balance of aroma and warmth. The gardens provide a spacious open area, making it an ideal spot for families with children. The seating arrangements are comfortable, accommodating groups as small as two to larger parties. The decor enhances the overall experience with authentic Asian roofs, statues, and architecture, creating a cohesive theme throughout. The kitchen is versatile, offering a variety of dishes from sushi to Thai and Chinese, as well as delicious continental desserts. You won’t be disappointed here. For larger groups, it’s advisable to make reservations, and communicating your taste preferences allows you to avoid dishes that may be too mild or too spicy. Overall, Yao offers a delightful dining experience in the heart of Gigiri.
