El Cerro Mexican Grill - Myrtle Beach

I drove from Atlanta, GA for a solo trip, I have my research in front of my hand to find a Mexican spot with a great mood. I stopped for dinner on 11/20/22. Food was delicious!

I really wanted to give these guys a better rating but I can 't. My wife has MS and doesn 't walk very well. When we asked the hostess if a ramp was available she stated No . No other options were given. After looking around when we finally got seated (rough walk with disabled wife), I noticed electric lifts. Why was that not an option? Those lifts I assume are for disabled patrons. If not then the restaurant is Non-ADA compliant. Everything else was good just a little lax on service as well. Great food though.

I was a little hesitant first, but I was pleasantly surprised. I started with a Texas Margarita and it was not irrigated as I experienced in other places. The steak and the chicken were tender enough that I didn't need a knife. My plate also had a bunch of big shrimps on it. The portion size was big enough that I couldn't eat anything. Service was fast and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

The atmosphere is incredible, the seating was quick, the tables are huge, our waiter was very attentive. Also, the food was amazing plus very hot not so pricey. The only thing I didn't like was the Mexican Micheladas but that's okay my boyfriend enjoyed them. We will definitely come back here and recommend to anyone in the area.
