The Rock Grill and Patio

The Rock in Muskoka is a hidden gem offering excellent golf courses, fantastic service, and a beautiful clubhouse. The 6,150-yard course provides a challenge for golfers of all skill levels, with the gold tees offering a tough test of accuracy. The course is carved out of the Canadian Shield, making accuracy crucial to avoid sending your ball flying in unintended directions. The clubhouse is welcoming and staffed with friendly and efficient employees. The turn house offers quick bites from the BBQ without having to enter the main clubhouse. Located conveniently across from the Marriott, The Rock comes highly recommended.

The course was in great shape and made excellent use of the unique geography. However, the layout was a bit confusing and good shots were not always rewarded, especially around the greens. The staff at the clubhouse seemed disorganized when trying to send us out, and charging $5 to use the range before your round seemed cheap considering the high green fee rate.

The course is stunning but can be quite challenging.

Very nice golf course. Extremely challenging but course is in great condition. Greens are very fast, almost to the point of being unfair. However, for the price of $85 getting a round, cart and dinner is worth it.

Fabulous golf course, conditions are great. If you are planning to play this track you probably won't like it the first time as you need to know where to hit it off the tee, but once you do you will appreciate the design as it is terrific. Not a long course but it will test your shot making
