We were making multiple stops, so we didn't stay very long, but we really enjoyed the experience and I think we would've been happy staying here all afternoon! The space didn't look very big when we first walked in, even though it is very large from the outside. There are some tables for dining, and seats at the bar. It looked pretty packed, so we ordered beers at the bar and walked toward the back area that additional space is huge!! There are more tables, and some standing high tops back there, plus a couple dart boards. We were looking more for the vibe of the main area, so we went back and were able to get seats at the bar. I really enjoyed the pint of After Dune Delight IPA, and my friend loved hers as well I think she had the Oatmeal Crème Pie Nitro. She even went back later that weekend to pick up more! The whole food menu sounded really good, but we weren't ready for food yet, so unfortunately didn't try any. Based on this experience I will absolutely venture back out to Muskegon just to go here! I really want to try more of their IPA's, as well as some of the food. I really liked the overall vibe, and the staff was all friendly as well. Definitely recommended!
Even though I really don't drink beer much anymore these days, Nate still likes trying breweries and I always have a sip or two of a flight here and there. We stopped in to Pigeon Hill Brewing Company after an afternoon at the beach recently. The place kind of feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's pretty close to downtown. There was plenty of parking, and a bit of outdoor seating that was shaded, which was nice as the sun was starting to peek out. We ordered a flight of six different beers from the friendly employees and headed out to the patio. They were smoking some pork outside, which smelled really good. We didn't get any food, but the menu looked tasty. I tried a sip of each of the beers and honestly just didn't really like any of them. The salted caramel porter was the favorite, but the cherry mango one was super medicinal with a chemical taste. I was most excited for the peaches and cream, which just didn't really give me a lot of peach flavor. Overall I didn't find anything I really loved, but don't let that keep you from checking it out if you enjoy beer they have some unique brews that likely appeal to a broad range of beer enthusiasts. I noticed some families and groups inside playing games and enjoying the space. It seems like a fun, casual spot for locals and visitors alike.
Great atmosphere and dog friendly! Beers are solid with a good variety. Very friendly staff.
This is a great place to check out in Muskegon! It is nice to get out of GR once in a while and go to a different brewery. This is a nice, new building with plenty of space. Surprisingly, it was hoppin' while we were here on a Saturday afternoon. I had never been here, and I didn't expect them to have so many beers in tap, as they don't can many for distribution. We ended up getting multiple flights so that we could try as many as possible. The beers were mostly very good! The food was exxxxcellent! We both ordered sandwiches a Pulled Pork and a Nashville Hot. You get a light up pager for when your food is ready and then pick it up at the food window. The service was great our server was very fast, attentive, friendly, helpful. We also ended up taking home a growler and a t shirt! Overall, a fantastic visit!
Beers were great and had a huge selection. I can honestly say they had something for everyone. I like that they experiment a lot and do what they do well. I had one of their ipa's and it was great.
