Casa Jimenez Mexican - Murrieta

This is a great Mexican restaurant, the service was fantastic, flavors were authentic, and price is very reasonable. They brought chips and salsa to the table within minutes and filled them again before we were out, the food came out quickly. A great experience.

This place is horrible. The only good thing possibly in here is the shrimp cocktail. The rice is dried up and beans are canned. Came here ordering my shrimp cocktail. I got 2. And I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas ! I went in there to pick up the order, the dude says $80 bucks. Honestly I just paid because i just wanted to get home. I came back home to do the math, and it wasn 't adding up. They were robbing me. I called 3 times, both times I asked the different guys how much was the cheese enchiladas and they said $9.50 with rice and beans. Than asked them how much were the shrimp cocktails they said $18 each. And I told them to do the math. Finally they pass me to a manager where they tell me they added an additional 2 enchillada orders, and that my cheese enchiladas actually cost $14.99, than this lady manager got on the phone and said the enchiladas are $15.99. This place is too pricey for bad food, to all my white folks you are getting cheated. I was going to give it 3 stars but with their incompetence, I 'll only give them 1. Chile Verde pork burrito with rice, beans, chips and salsa for lunch special $9.95 was good value. Value and AC may have been more appreciated than fabulous flavor as fair was pretty standard. Nothing outstanding but a good lunch break

My sister and brother-in-law have been going here for a while and we finally tried it 6 months ago and it has quickly become our go-to mexican food. We always get the cheese enchiladas and Campachana (sp) and split it. Happy hour is from 3-7 and their house margaritas are strong and never disappoint. Servers and staff are ALWAYS friendly and patient and they serve large groups flawlessly. Around dinner time there is usually a wait, but it is well worth it.
