Hank's Honky Tonk - Murfreesboro

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it and were pleasantly surprised. They have live music on weekends and a laid-back atmosphere. The drink menu includes a wide variety of beers on tap. The staff was fantastic and it's a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some drinks.

While on vacation in Nashville, we decided to visit Hanks on a Friday night and had an amazing time. If you're in Nashville, skip Broadway and head to Hanks for delicious food, cold drinks, and the best atmosphere. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in town. - Neil and Lynn

My wife and I have visited this restaurant several times with friends, and I have always enjoyed the delicious food. However, I find that both the food and drinks are overpriced for what you receive. During my most recent visit, I went for happy hour and ordered a Bold Rock Cider, which was listed as a $2.50 domestic drink. When I received the bill, I was charged $3.25 per bottle and was told that it was not part of the happy hour special. Despite showing them their own happy hour sign, they refused to adjust the price. We also had issues with being charged full price for appetizers that were ordered during happy hour. While the food is good and the drink options are plentiful, the prices are excessive. I most likely won't be returning unless persuaded to do so. Perhaps your experience will be better.

Visited Hank?s Honky Tonk (former O'Possum's Pub) after seeing the ribbon cutting of their event space. Sat at the bar and the bartender got me a draft and the menu. Pretty much a bar food menu with a few ?meal? items. The Happy Hour had the chicken bites appetizer $2 off so I gave them a shot with ranch and bourbon BBQ for dipping. I?ve gotta state these were excellent. The breading was light but had flavor and the chicken was extremely moist and tender. These were some of the best I?ve had in a long time. So much so, instead of ordering a sandwich I ordered a second helping. Food was great, beer cold, and service excellent. Wish it wasn?t clear across town or I would be a regular!

Hank was great! great staff, eating and entertainment, can't wait to go back!
