Garden Greek Grill - Murfreesboro

All the ingredients were fresh; the food was hot and delicious. The owner is very kind, love to support small business!

The portion of baba ghanoush was quite small for the price. The grape leaves had an unusual, somewhat sour and bitter taste. I was also disappointed that there wasn't a small cup of yogurt sauce served with the main dish, as is common in Greek restaurants. Despite these issues, the food was still enjoyable.

The chicken was tough and appeared to be stale. The lamb looked old too. I was really disappointed, especially since I've been eating here for years and have always enjoyed fresh food.

I had the worst experience with what was supposed to be Greek food! I ordered the mixed grill, and the only item that had any flavor was the banana pepper—who even puts banana peppers in Greek cuisine? The gyro meat was completely bland. The Baklava was soggy, tough, and chewy. Instead of tzatziki sauce, they sent ranch dressing. The only positive aspect was the portion size. I definitely won’t be ordering from there again!
