El Monte Mexican Food - Murfreesboro

Nice, affordable mexican food with a decent variety of options. The birria tacos are my favorite. The dining area is a little small but it's never so packed I feel uncomfortable.

Came here based on a recommendation and was on this side of town so decided to stop in. Food was fresh and good portion sizes and service was good. Drive thru window available we dined in and will be back. I had the steak chimichanga and my wife had the Chicken nachos and will return when in area.

The food was slightly below adequate, I had to hand pick all of my meat our of the onion mess when I asked for no green peppers, Only 3 pieces of shrimp barely any meat and the rest was onions as if they were using it like a filler Honestly I would have been happier if they had to put no onions in it at all because this was an excessive amount almost 3 fourths of the plate was onions and under 1/4 of the plate was meatDietary restrictions: No bell peppers doesn't mean EXCESSIVE ONIONS it was overwhelming

Man! 2nd visit is as great as 1st. Their food is delicious and hot.
