Bartender was working alone and said she was new at bartering and didn’t know how to make a ****** Mary. Not her fault at all. Restaurants fault for having someone with no experience bartending alone. There was also a drunk guy in the bar that clearly needed to be escorted out that they let stay. We had to leave after one drink because of the drunk fool they let stay in the bar.Would love to give this bar another chance though.

We were told by several people to go to Flat Rock and have one of their burgers. It was one of the best burgers I have had in that area. Saturday special is a burger and side for $6.50. The hand cut fries are my wife's favorite.Bartender was great, my beer never went empty.

What I love most about Flat Rock Tap located off Calumet Avenue, in Hammond, Indiana, is the regular Thursday night Open Mic's hosted by Marc Adrian. They run from 7pm to 10pm or a bit later. Mr. Adrian holds his own on acoustic guitar, but many other amazing local musicians drop by and share their talents with the audience. The service is terrific and the drinks are reasonably priced. If you're a musician, please stop by and jam with us (performers get one drink on the house! If you don't play, that's ok. Come by and enjoy the great music and service! Parking: The parking lot is a bit small, but usually doesn't pose an issue.
