Can a meal turn off nicely if this is so that I can serve une mise en bouche with cheese instead of some correct appetizers? what are you not preparing for a lamb without a broth? and why not the tender sorts instead of the tough ones? What about a béchamel? whereupon the rabbit is prepared, deep frying and warming it up, which leads to a tearing meat instead of the usual beautiful pieces? Why not use a good red wine through the glass instead of bad tasteless weeping? were not the customers the same quality of food as the delicious terrine au foie gras? all in all that the cooking does not update and modernize on the expectations of a client of the xxi century? ps why does not a French charming and feminine touch the German strict decoration?
We were human gluten allergic,) the personal greeted us in a friendly way speak English, German and French. they told us the whole menu and they made sure that some meals are made gluten-free. all was great, delicious and generous. courses per person (so in total flaked wine apee that we paid, I will go back there, safe!
We visited weeks ago with friends. They had discovered this little gem a few months earlier. What a lovely place! The service was great( English, German, French or Russian), the specials were explained, the menu had great choices. I took the tuna tartar( great...medley of flavors), excellent, and the halibut which was truly exceptional, cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly. One had the ribeye, the others had the Iberico pork. The portions were satisfying, nothing was left on the plates. For dessert I took the Valrhona chocolate mousse and again it was close to perfection. Not too sweet, with an ounce of bitterness, served with a sorbet. The wine( a Bordeaux was transferred to a carafe, and throughout the dinner the staff came back regularly making sure our glasses were never empty. I definitely will go back again, sooner rather than later...
This is our favorite French restaurant in Munich and it was also endorsed by other french friends living here. We are very discerning when it comes to French food. We love the seasonal menus, the Fois Gras and the desserts. Best of all, the lady...owner knows how to recommend the right wine that pairs well with our dishes. Prices as with any french restaurant outside of France is considered upper mid-range to high end for Munich standards but it is worth every Euro. We could not understand why other French restaurants would be rated higher....we have tried every one of them and this was the best for similar pricing levels. Some others were literally high end yet disappointing. Highly recommended also for a romantic date night out.
