Rosso Nero - München

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. The restaurant itself is small and quite beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but my favorite part is how friendly the chef is. He greets every table, and since I have been a few times, he came by several times throughout the evening. The food is very good, upscale italian. My favorite dishes tend to be truffled pasta, but the steak is very good too. I think it is the perfect date or special occasion restaurant

Food and service were great. Staff speaks English if that's something you need. Romantic ambience. We didn't have a reservation on a Wednesday evening and they found a spot for us. We would recommend making reservations. Everything we tried (a lot) we enjoyed. Pricey but not too bad. Be aware they do not accept credit cards. We had to walk to an ATM just down the street for cash. Our experience was great overall and we will return if ever in this part of Munich again.
