Vine - Mudgee

I had a lovely dinner with friendly and attentive service during my stay at the resort. The staff was cheerful and sharp, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. My food arrived promptly after I placed my order. While it wasn't the most creative dining experience, everything I tried was delicious, presented beautifully, and came in generous portions. The elevated deck gave the restaurant a spacious and comfortable feel. I had some concerns after reading previous reviews, but perhaps they were outdated or the restaurant has improved since then. It seemed that other diners around me were also enjoying their meals. While there are plenty of dining options in Mudgee city center, if you're looking for a cozy evening with good food and wine without the hassle of going out, I highly recommend this restaurant. Out of the three dishes I tried, two were quite disappointing. The pork belly was rubbery, and the salmon had an odd flavor. Additionally, the champagne was served warm. It was evident that the restaurant's management was lacking, as the service was slow and did not prioritize customer care.

The food is decent, but be prepared to wait. I went with a group, and it took more than an hour from the time the first person was served until the last person received their meal.

Dissapointing. Restaurant is Still Closed during the week. Resort has been full when I have visited over the last few months. Even a limited selected menu would be reasonable. Dinner and accommodation is essential. I Will be enquiring before making next lot of reservations.

Great place. The food is homely, and comforting and done very well. The pork ribs and onion rings were beautifully done, and very nice staff. Totally recommend if you are staying or passing by Mudgee.
