フィードバックを提供するWe called in here on Monday, the place was so busy, came in the door staff informed us to get a table, what specials where on that day, they where on a blackboard above a lovely fireplace, they then told us when we where ready to order to join the queue, we then placed our order at the bar, we had someone with us with a dairy allergy, the staff explained what we could have on the menu, I asked if the Irish stew had and dairy in it, the girl was unsure so asked the chef, which was great peace of mind, we had a great meal although expensive, and no alternative milk, but what stood out the most was the service and how well the staff deal with the amount of customers, reading some of the reviews, my exceptions where not high at all, but the service the staff provided was great, the women and man behind the bar, had a great knowledge of the local whiskeys informing us of which one they would recommend, and the different barrels they are aged in, it was great as we missed the distillery on our short visit to bushmills.
Situated next to the car park closest to the Giant's Causeway, this charming little restaurant is decorated with old school desks and benches. Although we only ordered coffees and desserts, the prices on the menu were quite high. The food did appear appetizing, but I was relieved that we only stopped in for a snack and not a full meal.
We sought refuge at this restaurant after a chilly, wet, and windy trip to Giants Causeway. The cozy old schoolhouse still retains its traditional charm. Although the food menu was limited, we opted not to dine. Instead, we ordered an Irish Coffee and a Baileys Coffee to warm up, which were delicious but quite pricey at nearly £20 for both. We sat by the welcoming open fire to dry off and wait for our tour bus to pick us up.
This is a fantastic little spot with affordable prices and a great variety of drinks and light snacks. We tried the afternoon tea and were impressed by the incredibly fresh scones. The staff were also extremely friendly.
Irish Stew to die for, amazing food, friendly staff. Would def recommend. Great start to your Giant's Causeway experience.
