I spent a month in Ireland, and ate fish and chips every day. The Golden Chip had the best fish and chips on the island. I would drive an hour out of the way just to eat there again. Fair warning, though, this is a take-out place. No chairs or tables.
The customer service was very bad, very rude on the phone, I canceled an order as I could arrange the wrong place, and they called 1 minute after the phone call, they wanted me to pay for ordering with means of life that I never asked well and for my personal data. disappointed
Ordered our food to go and dree times before we even left the building her doll fucked the order on. she was thicker than a mcdonalds milkshake. go home.
I work in customer service and I was extremely disappointed by the poor customer service at this takeout restaurant. The staff showed no interest in serving customers, didn't smile, and made it seem like fulfilling simple requests was a big hassle. When I asked for a plastic fork, the assistant's shocked reaction was almost funny. The food was freshly cooked, but waiting 10 minutes for two chip sandwiches seemed excessive. The sandwiches were toasted and generously filled with chips, but unfortunately, the bread was dry and made it difficult to enjoy. This chip shop doesn't use butter, and I found the price of £4.20 for a dry sandwich and chips to be quite expensive and not worth the long wait. Overall, I don't think I will be returning to this place.
