I was in town for a wedding and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did! The staff was amazing, especially Kristin. She knew exactly what I wanted before I did and her recommendations were spot on. I didn't even know I needed that short rib, bit it was exactly what I needed. Watkin's is a hidden gem! While awaiting a table at a nearby restaurant, we decided to give this local eatery a try. The attentive service, friendly staff, and flavorful classics definitely leave nothing to be desired.

Decided to find a place for a late evening cocktail and what a treat when we saw Watkins was nearby. We came for a drink and ended up ordering food. So good. Fresh, Friendly and Awesome. We got Fried Green Tomatoes, Crab Cake and the Elderflower Old Fashion. The bartender from the French Quarter who's name i missed was a great compliment to our time. He even prepared for me a New York Whiskey sour. So yum! Highly Recommend!

I didn’t like anything about it. Weird vibe, zero customer service, mediocre food at best. I had a spinach salad which came with a boiled egg. The yolk was dripping out of the egg white. Yuck. Will never be

My boyfriend decided to take me to brunch on Sunday at Watkins, when I just wanted to stay home cook breakfast, but he insisted on going to brunch there was so many places we could have chosen but we haven't had Watkins in awhile, So Watkins it is it was horrible, the service mediocre could have been better, the food was just not good, grits was cold lumpy,the bacon was burnt had the nerve to bring the same bacon back out to me after I said it was cold burnt!! My toast was dry as well!! Then had the nerve to say ill take care of the bill..Let's just say we want be coming back!! Signed a unhappy customer ?
