Evelyn's Southern Fare - Mountain Brook

I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We went for lunch and my husband ordered the burger. What he received on his plate was a few flat, pre-made patties sandwiched between two rolls with cheese, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, and onions, along with a side of frozen french fries. The burger was okay, but my husband received a much larger portion of salad compared to mine, which was only about 1/3 of the size. I had ordered a vegetarian option for myself, and I have to admit that it was not up to my expectations.

Excellent service and delicious Southern fare. Will definitely be back.

Traditional southern food. Duck confit, salad, burger and skillet chicken were all great. Bread pudding was amazing!

Heard my favorite local chef works here.I'm anticipating my next visit to Bham.Keep it hot for me.

This restaurant has great food and service. The chef does an excellent job of marrying flavors to make outstanding food.
