Brick Tin Mountain Brook

I stopped by for lunch after my friend's graduation, and I must say, it's a charming little restaurant with beautiful decor and a quaint bakery on the side. I ordered the Ham Sandwich Panini and a fruit cup, while my mom opted for the simple salad and mac and cheese. Everything we had was fantastic, except for the simple salad. I get that it's called 'simple salad,' but it really was just lettuce with some vinaigrette and a sprinkle of parmesan. Other than that, everything was delicious, and our servers were incredibly friendly. I'm not sure if I'll visit again, but overall, I had a positive experience.

The chicken sandwich and mushroom soup were outstanding, deserving more than five stars. Each bite was truly delicious. The farro salad with brisket is one of those dishes you simply have to finish. The dressing added a wonderful flavor to the mix of vegetables and farro. Even the asparagus was cooked to perfection. This is an excellent spot to enjoy lunch with a friend.

The service was excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the menu options were quite limited. I found the prices a bit high considering what was offered. Personally, I didn't find the food impressive, but at least I can say I gave it a try.

I enjoyed the Turkey Melt with pimento cheese; it was very flavorful. The bread had a nice crust with a soft center, which I loved. The macaroni and cheese was rich and creamy. While I wasn't particularly fond of the sauce on the brisket, I thought the meat itself was quite good. The bakery items were outstanding! The blueberry cheesecake muffin was moist and delicious, and I would definitely recommend the no-bake chocolate cookie, French macarons, brown butter coconut cookies, and chocolate chip cookies—each one was worth a return visit!

The food is unique and quite tasty. As others have mentioned, it is on the pricey side. The service was decent—nothing outstanding, but also not terrible. The decor is charming, creating a more upscale atmosphere for casual dining. However, the interior gives the impression that tipping is expected, even though you order at the counter and don’t see the server again once your food is brought to your table. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit to see how you feel about it.
