Burke's Tavern - Mount Pocono

We called and placed a pick up order for 2 of the same burger. The website says $11.99 a piece with $1.99 to sub out for fries. We got charged $17 for 1 burger and $12.99 for another then $5.99 for fries. The fries were terrible, the burgers were ok but when I called to find out what happened (My man picked it up, not me) the woman had an attitude. We stopped here on our way to western Pennsylvania. The server, Josh, was helpful and friendly. We all had Wagner's pear cider, which we all enjoyed. We started with the sautéed mini pierogies which were delicious and the sautéed onions were so delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich and I upgraded to the waffle fries. Very tasty food. The staff are friendly and helpful. Much better food than you standard pub fare. We had vegetarians and non-veg and there was something for everyone. But they could use a few more healthy, vegetarian options

Drinks were fine but service could be improved. Our friends came in and we went after the Mt pocono carnival we would have stayed and bought multiple rounds and tipped well but after our first round of drinks our bartender didn't come back or ask us if we wanted a 2nd round. Others sitting at the bar with us also had issues getting her attention it's a shame we would have spent quite a bit had we been served.
