When we approached the counter, despite there being 5 or 6 staff members milling about, no one seemed to notice us. Eventually, a young staff member came through the door and around the counter to ask if we needed help. We ordered our pizza and were told to wait. When the pizza finally arrived and we began to eat — after standing at the counter and being ignored yet again — I turned to my partner and remarked that I had frozen pizzas at home that were far better than this. Throughout our wait and while eating, all we could hear was a chaotic commotion from the staff behind the counter, who seemed overwhelmed with other tasks, leaving us waiting for the rest of our order. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
I visited this restaurant with friends after our trip to Letchworth, and while the food was decent, I can't really recommend it. We had to wait about 40 minutes for three dishes, and one of the orders was incorrect, so my friend had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the right sandwich. That alone wouldn't have been too bad, but what was truly disheartening was witnessing a worker behind the counter shouting aggressively at the staff. After waiting for the first twenty minutes—and knowing it would take longer—we decided to sit outside to avoid overhearing the uncomfortable shouting.
Seriously, I thought they killed me when I ate pizza there. why, because I was in the sky! omg, absolutely the best pizza on this planet, no lie!
We stopped in because we hoped an Italian place would have good salads--and they did! We had had an enormous lunch and so only wanted something light for dinner. The owner very obligingly prepared two fresh, restorative salads for us, along with very tasty hot garlic bread. We were happy to be treated so well when we were not buying a bigger meal. We would go back!
