Backyard Burgers Mount Martha

I came here for breakfast one morning as all the other restaurants were too crowded. I should have trusted my instincts that this café wouldn't be good. The table was dirty and had spilled coffee that was not properly cleaned. Orders were mixed up multiple times and the waiter couldn't find the right customers. The milkshakes were not tasty. The waitress was visibly upset and mentioned that she didn't want to be there but had to because no one knew what they were doing. She spoke rudely to her coworkers. Our portions were small, but when we asked for larger ones, they were still disappointing. The eggs were tiny and the toast was dry and burnt. My daughter enjoyed her waffle, though. The tables were also uneven, making our experience uncomfortable. Overall, I would not recommend dining here.

We were on mount martha who visited a friend, and decided to make a coffee before we mean dear friend with our annoyance and the annoying of the two girls we babysit. the hotel is located right next to a Gelato shop, providore was our destination of choice so I could grab some gelato later. since we had lunch, our plan was only for coffee, but after the descent in the menu our plan went out of the window. we have a zucchini soup, hot dog and Mac cheese bites to share. the suppe was wonderfully smooth, creamy and full of taste. the toast that came with him was perfectly roasted. we couldn't blame the hot dog either. soft fluffy but light crispy roll...read more

The service is absolutely disgusting. Certain staff members are completely unprofessional and flirting with each other. They are incompetent with understanding what Is ordered and You will be unhappy with the service.

An okay place to grab a bite in a hurry, but nothing 'wow '. With strong cafe competition nearby it 's hard to compare... So although there 's nothing wrong with this place, there 's also nothing special. Coffee is good but not great. They do have a coffee loyalty card though which is quite rare for the area. Meals are mostly pre made and on display so can be heated in a hurry. Options include focaccia, lasagne, cakes etc. Perhaps a good option for takeaway bites rather than a dine in experience.

The best flavoured coffee made perfectly by Jess Dave and Myles and now ive just had the tastiest BLT ever thanks to James. fiendly staff and great choice of music
