Nice view... the scones a bit dry, Ok coffee, no Almond milk, 15% surcharge on WEEKENDS and public holidays! No free drinking water supplied....
Perfect winters Sunday morning, and being in the neighborhood stopped in for some scones. A large open venue, despite being busy we easily found a table for two with a great view. Scones were delicious, light, fluffy, large and hot. Cappuccino was good, and the chocolate milkshake outstanding. Was delivered to the table in less than 10 mins, and the service was genuinely friendly. If you were looking for a scenic drive to scratch a scones itch, I would highly recommend Top of the Range.
Top of the range cafe has amazing view from the top of mount macedon. Coffee and tea were okay not impressive. The place looks a bit messy. They are pretty busy in autumn.
Went to beautiful mt Macedon to see their autumn leaves and decided to stop by this touristy restaurant. Ordered: Vegetarian pizza: $14 Review: If you go to this restaurant don’t expect a high end fancy experience as it is not, there is no table service and you need to personally do to the counter and order then pay your meal. Mt Macedon doesn’t have a water system so there’s no fresh water and therefore the only options are soft drinks and coffee. Our vegetarian pizza was TINY for the price tag, I can get a cheaper bigger pizza at dominos for $5.
