My only disappointment was because our waitress did not ask us if we wanted another cup of coffee or tea! However I would still go back! They have a wide variety of meals to satisfy anyone!
A good surprise. It was rated lower than Cracker Barrell, but we like local places. It's a bit rough looking on the outside, but is under new management and apparently about to be renovated. We had a standard eggs, 4! pieces of sausage, and and hash browns, and a bagel with whitefish on a toasted bagel and a surprising garnier including a surprising hard boiled egg. Totally enjoyable. And, the coffee comes in heavy smallish mugs. Hint, it stays hotter longer. Inexpensive. Try it.
New owner was there overseeing the place. Food was very good and tasty. The service was very good. Place does need a sprucing, but I understand it will be getting a complete make over. Prices are reasonable. Large menu. Almost anything you would feel like eating, they should have it here.
If you're in the mood for a typical diner experience with friendly service, Sage Diner is the spot for you. I visited this morning at 7:30, and the place was eerily quiet; I was the first customer, even though they had opened 30 minutes prior. I took a seat at the counter and was warmly welcomed by a cheerful waitress. As I browsed the menu, I enjoyed a cup of coffee that was surprisingly good for diner standards. I ordered the full Sage Slam, which is reminiscent of Denny's breakfast, and it turned out to be quite tasty. The pancakes were satisfying, and while the eggs were meant to be over-easy, they came out closer to medium—definitely not ideal for someone in a button-down shirt. However, the bacon and sausage were cooked to perfection! Just a heads-up, they are undergoing construction, so it might look like they’re closed from the outside. Overall, I rated it 7/10 and would definitely go back.
I visited Sage Diner for the first time with my service dog, and we were treated really well. The food was excellent, and they even gave Daisy some sliced bananas. Thank you, Sage Diner! I was also impressed by the accessibility features—they have steps and a ramp on both sides, which I’ve never encountered anywhere before.
