I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time I ate here because they had just opened, didn't have an alcohol license and were new to the area. A year later I decided to try it out again and was grossed out beyond words. It was my daughter's birthday and she loves crab legs, when we got to the restaurant it was empty and cold. We were greeted by a young boy who said they were open and immediately turned on the lights and music but never the heat, mind you it was winter. He then sat us and asked if we were ready to order, we had just sat! I asked for ice tea but he said they didn't make enough and had none, we opted for soda instead which was good considering they came in a can. Finally we ordered, were served by an older man and that's where the nightmare started. Roaches everywhere, on the seats, tables and the floor. I was feeling a certain way until my son found a dead one in his fries. We all lost our appetite! We told the boy, he apologized and issued me a refund for that order of $17 after he spoke with the older man in their language, Chinese maybe. Come to find out, the refund never showed up on my card. It had been pending but looked like they reversed it. I disputed the amount and my bank credited me. So here I am writing this review to warn others NOT to eat here!! This restaurant has so many violations it should be closed.
Went here earlier tonight with my friends, and the place was closed. After checking the hours they were supposed to close at 9pm and we arrived around 7pm. There was so sign stating why the hours were changed and we drove 30 minutes away just to eat here. Been here before with no problem in service, very disappointing this time.
Ordered a Bo'Boy and the shrimp as boiled! Don't call it a Bo'Boy unless you are going to make a Po'Boy. My husband ordered a soft shell crab sandwich, the crab was really tiny and not crispy as it should be. We both didn't eat our food.
They undercooked the lobster by accident. The Mac and cheese was decent. The food was kinda bland. The seasoning they use was blocked up under the lobster. The sauce was more watery than sauce. Honestly we should have gotten a discount on behalf of the frozen lobster. They apologized, took our dismantled lobster back and recooked it lol. I might be spoiled from living in NH and Maine cause the lobster tasted old. When I opened up a claw it had some weird moldy looking spot on it. I couldn't imagine it was from the tamale because I had JUST cracked it open...And the texture wasn't right. Tasted like I bit into a dead fish honestly. I was really excited to try this place out. Looked great but tasted bleh..
