Global Grill Myong Gourmet

After serving our appetizers, it was 45 minutes before we got our ducks. Someone forgot to tell the kitchen to fire our orders when the appetizers were released. We were surprisingly asked to wait for 30 minutes when we were ready for dessert! No one from the kitchen even came out to apologize for the fusion, or even offer a free drink for the inconvenience. When everything was said and done, we were there for a 2 hour. Dinner should have been 1/4 hours.

The service, the selection of the menu and the presentation of our dinner were excellent. The tasting of each course was right. Can't say enough of what a great find this was to celebrate Restaaurant week.

Server 'Carla' was a pleasure to explain the food items, deliver them and assure everything was excellent.

Global Grill is conveniently located on the main road through MT Kisco NY, but not easy to see. The interior is modern and saves. Prices a bit high for the location. Service is friendly and well informed, but occasionally forget. Food is produced locally, fresh and creative, with some Asian touches. Recently thick, crunchy slab bacon was a big starter, such as generous tuna tarts. Calamari Special was less successful. The local pig farm was amazing. Wine list unstoppable, and $15 Martinis unrealistic.

Found this restaurant on Open Table when in the area. Most reviews were good....some fair. My feeling is the food was just fair. I ordered Mahi Mahi special...just ok. My partner had the flounder which he enjoyed. It was a pleasant ambiance inside ....the restaurant located in a strip mall. Can't say I would return.
