Slim Chickens - Mount Juliet

Food is great here, but waited in drive through for over 30 minutes.

We have lost count of how many times our order has been wrong or we have been handed the wrong bag. It’s unfortunate because the food is good. Restaurant also is very messy and disheveled looking when you come in. This all happens regardless of how busy they are. Maybe we will try again in a few years. Probably not.

The food is good and always super friendly service. Anything Cayenne Ranch is great there.

This place definitely has management issues. I had gone there a few months back and it was such a horrible experience that I figured maybe they were having a bad night and I would try it again before I wrote a review . Tonight was even worse this time I went through the drive through. After waiting exactly 42 minutes in the drive thru (only 5 cars ahead of me I witnessed something that made me wanna puke the people in front of me were senior citizens and when the kid working the window handed her change he haphazardly handed her money back and a bill flew on the ground . Did he go outside and retrieve it like a young gentleman.. no! Instead this elderly lady squeezed between her door and her car and crawled down to grab her money. I couldn't open my door or I would have helped. The food is good and that's what keeps people coming back but eventually people are going to get sick of the horrible service this place has to offer. And that young man should be ashamed of himself!

First time at a Slim Chickens. The food is pretty good. The service needs help. The front counter woman was great, listened, answered questions, was very patient. I had the Chicken and Waffles and really liked it. When the food came to the table, we asked for an extra plate and utensils, to which the server said she would be right back. She didn't return, so I went to the front and asked the cashier, who was helpful. There were 5 employees near the back drive thru window (1 car, no line), all standing looking at the food rack, not doing anything except talking to each other. There were only 2 tables inside with patrons, no line, so why can't one request be completed?
