The Xtra Mile - Mount Isa

There are plenty of breakfast choices at this restaurant, although the prices are slightly higher compared to other cafes in Mount Isa. Some dishes come in large portions while others are more modest. However, the variety is great for adding some excitement to your morning! The service is friendly and they open at 6:00 AM.

Found the spot everyone had been talking about. Can't fault this place at all. Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon was delicious and the coffee (Latte on Almond with an extra shot) was perfect with the temperature spot on! Can't wait to get back to the Isa to eat/drink there again!

This cafe is in a great location with a cozy interior. We visited for breakfast and coffee and found both to be excellent. The rosti stack and pumpkin fritters we ordered were generous portions and made fresh to order. The meals arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee was also fantastic.

Loved the food (Okey for breakfast, good for lunch), I always like their smoothies, coffee is good too. Ambiance is okey but the posters on wall are cool (and funny). Will try dinner soon.

Today, we had lunch at Xtra Mile and it was the best meal we have ever had in Mount Isa. My partner ordered the omelette with Rosti and I had the Thai prawn salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and we regretted that it was our last day in town and we wouldn't be able to return. The service staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Our meals arrived promptly and we highly recommend Xtra Mile to anyone looking for great service and incredible food.
