Carpentaria Buffalo Club - Mount Isa

The club has just been through an extensive refurbishing of its bars. The new public/sports bar is a credit to the club. It has a warm welcoming atmosphere with booths, dry bars and spacious nooks to cater for small or large gatherings. Sports TV’s adorn the pelmets above the bar and are positioned for easy viewing but out of your normal line of sight so as to be unobtrusive. The new bar extends almost the length of the room , is bright, airy and inviting. Well done Buffs!

This place had a wide selection of food and places to eat and drink. Service and food was great. The roast of the day was great value. A great community venue.

Great Food and Service the staff were awesome and really friendly..made my 3 week stay in ISA a real treat....full table service at dinner no walking up to get your food which is also great...thank you to all the staff at the Buffs

I recently dined at The Coffee Club restaurant at the Buffs Club and I will definitely be returning. The service was excellent, the food was incredible (especially the Angus steak with mushroom sauce), and the atmosphere was fantastic with multiple areas to explore. The staff was efficient and friendly throughout the Club. I highly recommend dining at this establishment.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years. I was quite surprised and disappointed to discover that the water feature and steam at the entrance had been removed and replaced with dry, dead grass. The restaurant and bar have a calm and tranquil atmosphere, with a good selection of red wines by the glass. I had heard that the chicken parmigiana was the best in town, but I tried the lamb salad instead. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and drenched in salad dressing. There seemed to be a lack of lighter options for those who are health conscious, as the meals were quite large.
