Been better if they changed their water more or so. But I get it.

Stopped because it was rainy and we wanted some chowder. I ordered the clam chowder and my daughter the seafood chowder. My husband the crab cake basket. When I inquired about the base of the chowder the waitress stated it was made with half and half. Came out looking good,buttery on top, that's where it stopped. Watery, and no flavor. It did have lots of clams in it but they were gritty. My daughter said the same about hers, she ended up taking it home to see if she could made hers edible so she didn't waste her money My husband ended up giving me his crab cake basket. They were okay but I doubt homemade, a little over fried. My first real disappointment of local food in Maine.

Delicious meal, well worth the stop. But they close for the season on Oct 27, 2023. This was the last restaurant we could find for the season. Glad they stayed open!

Best crab roll I’ve had in years! Seafood chowder is full of haddock, shrimp, clams, scallops nice and brothy, not thickened—just the way I love it!

We got fresh lobster one night to cook and even got directions. We got fresh haddock the next night and I've never gotten fresher fish that I hadn't caught myself!
