Gumbo's - Mount Clemens

Our new favorite place! Shrimp Gumbo is delicious! Fish chips with Hush puppies is fantastic! Bananas Foster was amazing and so was Brownie (and especially when combined)! Nice friendly staff. Only about 10 minutes to fulfill our order. We recommend this place very much!

Just go... buy food.. eat it... I ordered a lot more food than I can eat just because I wanted to try. I ordered some voodoo fingers or roasted catfish with a beautiful diving sauce oh my goodness. I also ordered a page of Mac and cheese. That was really spicy beautiful in the Roux they used. for most part I eat every Mac and cheese, but that's special. I am often not happy with red beans and rice (because boring), but I enjoyed them very much. Just the right amount of sausage. Only the correct amount of spices; delicious. My favorites were perhaps the shrimps and crustaceans Etouffee, well, ignore the above mentioned voodoo fingers. The jambalaya was well done In my opinion, it is really difficult to make a very damp grain bread. Your cornbread is perfect. I took a bunch of me back. No, I didn't have all the food I bought, everything was so good that I just had to taste the bread pudding with some ice on it. Wow really good. Let's talk about the staff. They talked me through everything, they were so helpful. If I'm ever back in the area, make sure I stop in this food is amazing. I didn't really feel like something spicy, but, as my wife would point out, I think things are mild that other people think to be sharp. Well, maybe I missed it and something should be spicy, but for me nothing was. However, you have some delicious hot sauces sitting on the table if you want to make them spicier when they come out. Oddly, I enjoyed the food so much that I didn't even think to add the hot sauce. Imagine I didn't reach for hot sauce when I had it available, I cost my food so much. Again, don't miss this place. You have to come and try their food. Just buy food and eat

The first time, but not the last. Great family property and restaurant. Very friendly staff and welcoming inside. The food was excellently prepared by Mama! The Jambalaya was plentiful and seasoned exactly right. Shrimp Po Boy and Gumbo Combo were the perfect pairing. Can't wait to take the rest of the family!!

I took my significant other to Gumbo's for his birthday. Gumbo's I will be a returning customer. I can't wait to take my mom. The atmosphere was nice. They have 3 different sides of the restaurant you can choose to sit. It was my first time there so I chose the Mardi Gras side. The food come out on time, it was hot and delicious. I ordered the seafood platter, Mac n cheese, garlic green beans were my fav) and a **** Mary. Their in house sweet tea will bring me back. The staff was great and helpful with knowing the menu.

You have to check out this restaurant! The food and service were fantastic. My only downside was that they were out of a few main dishes I had wanted to try. However, I really enjoyed the rice and beans, Cajun pasta, and catfish fingers the most.
