Kooroomba Vineyards

This was undoubtably one of the most spectacular places we've visited in the Scenic Rim! The drive from the Southern Downs, beautiful, passing by Mt Greville skirting Lake Moogerah, and arriving at a place of natural beauty! The infrastructure, chapel and cellar door was very grand and welcoming, the staff warm and friendly, the restaurant, overlooking a spectacular view of the mountain ranges, grape vines and lavender rows, a lovely gift shop and gallery to support local artisans, but by far the thing that will remain in my mind was our paddock to plate experience, when a scotch egg from heaven was put before me, and the perfect pork belly, in front of my partner. An unforgettable day at our new favourite corner in the Scenic Rim! You have got to try it! Kathleen

We've driven from Brisbane to Kooroomba for lunch on 4 occasions now it never disappoints. How can you go past the beautiful setting of those mountains, the vineyards, the local wallabies hopping about the stunning interior of the building itself. The service was exceptional as usual the food was presented artistically on the plate with flavours to match. I'd drive all that way just for your lavender icecream !! As a coeliac I very much appreciate how many gluten free options there are on the menu. Your restaurant is top class ..... will definitely return.

I drove an hour and a half to get there and was greeted by a friendly staff. The soup of the day was deliciously poured on the spot in the dish which was an amazing experience and enjoyed to the last drop of it. I must have been famished. I greatly enjoyed the meal and the picturesque vineyard and the lavander farm with the breathtaking view of the Scenic Rim of Queensland. I will be back again.

Our wedding day was better than we could have ever imagined it to be- all thanks to Verity and Doogan. The whole experience, from the planning, to the day itself, was so enjoyable and stress-free. Verity is amazing at what she does, she is organised, friendly and only too happy to help. We were lucky enough to be able to be married in the new open-air chapel, it was magical and made for some stunning photos. On top of the obviously beautiful venue/surroundings, the food and wine was delicious, our guests were very impressed! We can’t thank the team at Kooroomba enough for helping us to create our perfect day, we wish we could do it all over again. We highly recommend them to those searching for the perfect wedding venue- there is no better!!

Fantastic place the view over the Scenic Rim is magnificent. So good it distracts you from your great company and great food. A treasure so close to urban Brisbane.
