We stopped in for a quick coffee prior to our gallery visit for a coffee - which was excellent, and quickly decided to come back for lunch later in the day because it had such a nice atmosphere.From a small kitchen, Lucca and Daniel manage to serve some lovely food, ranging from breakfasts, piadinas, bruschetta, zuppa, and several assagio plates and a pasta special.All lovely, along with very friendly service.Oh and the cakes all look excellent but we were too full to sample them.They open at night and add pizzas to the menu.

If you enjoy a flavoursome good quality coffee then this is the place for you. Great place for lunch.

Dropped in to Castlemaine as a stopover on a trip to SA. Decided to try this small Italian style cafe for their coffee but ended up having a light lunch as well. Coffee was fantastic, and the service friendly and efficient. Great spot to stop and relax. We sat in the courtyard area at the back but we could have also sat inside the restaurant itself although these seats are limited. Great experience.

Best Italian Coffee in the 'Main. Great place for lunch. Lovely shady garden at the back is a delight. Nice Cakes.

A little corner of rural Italy plopped into Castlemaine. Don't expect takeaway speed and generic dross. Expect flavour and class with the simple panache of the passionate Italian. Very good.
