Morwell Hotel

The bar meals here are amazing. The price ($10) INCLUDED a pot. These meals are not small versions of the bistro but full size. The schnitzels and roast of the day were excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. This is a great place to visit.

Booked into the bistro with a group for dinner. I ordered two basic meals which took a rather long time to be brought out. Others at the table waited even longer and there was over an hours difference between the arrival of the meals at the table. Not sure if they were under staffed or just slow. Wouldn't go back with a large goup.

Went here for a Saturday night dinner.. Food was good, the kids bolognaise didn't have much flavor, porterhouse steaks were tender and the chips were hot and salad fresh.. Play room was clean.. Staff friendly.. Don't forget your $5 voucher

The person taking our food order behind the pub bar was very unfriendly; the chicken parmigiana took 40 minutes to arrive and they got the order wrong too. We ordered vegetables with the food, not salad. The chicken parmigiana and chips were cold too; obviously, it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time before it was brought to us. The waitress did not even apologise for the cold food or the fact that it took so long to be brought to us after ordering it. The chicken parmigiana tasted as if it had been thawed from a frozen piece of chicken; it tasted like it had come straight from a supermarket. It was just shocking.I would definitely not recommend this restaurant pub.

I'm writing this "literally" later whilstvib my hotel room. I visited the Morwell Hotel with 2 business colleagues. I ordered the Special Chicken Burger which included lettuce, tomato, chicken breast and a hash brown with a side of chips. I would eat this burger every day if I possible! Post-ordering dinner we made a way to our table, waited 10 minutes and all three meals arrived. Definitely recommending this Hotel for a quick feed with friends, family or colleagues.
