Sternegg - Morschach

Well located, 1 min walk from the funi station. Prices are okay, I had the menu of the day and it was pretty good. Staff very friendly and efficient.

Friendly relaxed place with lovely staff. Had a great meal sitting in the sun with a mountain view and nice food.

We went here on a Tuesday when everything else seemed to be closed (low season). We decided to have a late lunch after a trip to the top of the Fronalpstock, using two chairlifts to get there, so at about 3.30 we wandered along to this charming place which is very close to the top of the fantastic funicular (we believe it’s the steepest in the world, and a very funky tubular shape). The place was humming! We sat outside in the sunshine and a kind waitress gave us a good table. We chose to eat a salad and mushroom risotto, both absolutely delicious. The food came quickly and efficiently and served in very unusual and pretty chinaware. We really loved it here and would highly recommend a visit, whether you’re waiting for the next funicular down, or just need to stoke up. Prices in the village are slightly higher than elsewhere, but not outrageously so and you get good food! Go!

...Wir genießen das ausgezeichnete Essen im Sternegg! Die wunderschöne Sonnenterrasse befindet sich direkt neben dem Skilift Sternegg. Auch beeindruckt hat mich der freundliche und professionelle Service, der an hektischen Tagen viel von den Mitarbeitern abverlangt.
