フィードバックを提供するThis place is a real jewel in Morro Bay. You can hear good quality live music most nights of the week. I enjoy their shows starting and ending relatively early. It slows me to enjoy night music, even if I have to work in the morning. They offer a wide range of local wines and a decent selection of soft drinks. My only complaint is that their selection of wines is too local. I understand that everyone supports the local economy, but there are so many other wines than just those produced in California and San Luis Obispo county, and do only a few ways to try them. I really want them to expand these options, especially with international selection. This is why I rarely order wine here and put it with mineral water.
Well what a wonderful surprise to be invited to this facility. Located right on the bay, with lovely views and for a bonus this week the tall ships are directly outside. What a great show. Then add on the live music show put on by Songwriters at Play and you have a whole lot of good things going on! This week is was a tribute to Joni Mitchell with eleven different musicians each doing a couple of Joni's songs. Now add to this a wide selection of wine and even a few beers, and everybody is happy. If you want to bring food in, it is allowed, and the Blue Moon Cafe next door will actually bring food to your table, if they are not too busy. If they are busy, it is just a few steps over to pick up you food and come on back. All in all it adds up to a great evening. The place was packed for the live music and still everything went oh so smoothly. I will be back for sure.
I'm not into wine. The wines were okay but I don't like wine. Also sampled their olive oil and balsamic vinegars. A majority of the balsamic vinegars had plenty of fruit flies in them. I still taste tested because, you know, it's vinegar but it seemed weird. I ended up buying the fig balsamic because it tasted good. Had a good time here. Probably wouldn't have if I went alone.
Take a moment, walk down a to what feels like a hidden secret and enjoy a plethora of delicious wines. All the while sitting at wine barrel tables overlooking the marina out a giant window and excellent service, with live music at night!
This has been our first stop every year for the past four years on our annual wine excursions to Paso Robles. The selection of wines is fantastic, the location is beautiful, and the wine tasting deal is incredibly creative. The staff is absolutely wonderful and engaging. If you trust them, they will take great care of you. We always leave with at least half a case of delightful wine finds and an unbreakable commitment to return again.
