Cluck-u Chicken - Morristown

Me and wife whose 7 months pregnant have been in the emergency at Morristown Memorial Hospital since 6pm. After seeing doctors they said my wife can eat something, anything. So she decided she wanted Cluck U Chicken. I called the store and ordered “The mashed potato bowl with shrimp NO CHICKEN” I was first initially told that I had to order the shrimp separate and I could get barbecue sauce or gravy. I said no problem give me gravy. I picked the order and I went back to the hospital to see BBQ sauce and the shrimp all together. I went back to the store and explained what happened (I was not rude or disrespectful) The cameras will show this. I was told by the manager Jorge and employee Jacob they were not going to refund my money or exchange it because that’s what I ordered. I tried to explain again, but the manager Jorge directed his attention to Jacob telling him; You took the order deal with it. Jacob refused to exchange my order or refund my money. And was very nonchalant about it as well as the manager. Mean while my pregnant wife is still hungry. I even took pictures of the food and the staff with their nonchalant demeanor and I left the food. And my wife ate potato chips from the vending machine to substitute the Mash Potato Bowl. I’m a manager in the hospitality industry and honestly I’m surprised how management handled the situation. #managementneedsretraining

Staple of Morristown. The best ownership. Great menu selection. Timely delivery. Just a great spot in general.

Service was good. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Food was mid though, very basic. Ordered the fried chicken with Mac and cheese, neither had any taste. Corn muffin was even worse. Actually thought I had COVID because I couldn’t taste anything. They also burned the chicken. They seem to be doing well with the food they currently sell, so they probably won’t change a thing; but I probably won’t return.

Really amazing chicken, and friendly staff. You can order a huge amount and it's still perfectly made. Restaurant is nice to eat in or can take it to go

Took my order and money, forgot to make my food, waited 15 mins till I had to go the counter. Nobody saw my order. The Manager claimed he was shorted staffed but there was 6 or 7 people working and only me and another customer there. All they were doing was prepping food. I wouldn't of had to ask for my money back but he kept making excuses instead of apologizing. Been to this location twice and twice this has happened.
