Honest Abe's Tap Grill - Morris

Honest abe is on rt 47 south of morris to have great food. let me tell them that eating is good when they can wait, their order in and don't forget to eat, cooked and not raw, not ignored or the right order they placed. Yesterday I was asked to never come back to abess because we cancelled our order. it took 5 minutes to decide what we wanted. it took 15-20 minutes before we had to ask the server if she ever wanted to take our order. she took it with an employment. So we went outside to calm down, thought more about it and decided to cancel it. the owner who came out and said our order would soon be done and come and pay for it. he didn't want to know why or even try to fix it to me, a customer. Instead, he zigzags us out and complains how he suffers a loss. he also tried to make our pictures to not serve us. he certainly didn't care when we was wasting our money and time. yes, now 4 times in succession we had bad services or eating there. honest abe is on the hill. they never have to worry about me again! they won't get me any hard-earned money from here.

The service during our Sunday lunch at the bar was disappointing. We ordered water and a salad but ended up waiting 45 minutes without any food. Meanwhile, a guy down the bar who ordered a beer was served his meal just 15 minutes after us. Frustrated, we decided to leave and probably won't be coming back.

I went out for lunch and had a pleasant experience with the bartender, who was friendly. However, the owner instructed the bartender to focus on her tasks and she stopped engaging with us. We sat at the bar and placed our lunch order, but after one hour, we still hadn’t received our meals. They claimed our order had been lost, and there were no apologies offered. It was a frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning.

What started as a decent place to watch the seasonal sports has unfortunately turned into a disappointing experience. The service is consistently poor, and the food quality has noticeably declined; it's often marginal at best or downright bad. Orders are frequently incorrect, with dishes arriving undercooked or lacking flavor. On two separate occasions, the wings I received were nearly raw near the bone. I tried to support this restaurant when it first opened, but I've ultimately lost my patience.
