The first time here in the colmslie hotel. when I stared for eating, I asked the young cook every chance to have a food, and he said sure not to worry and pick a ticket from the bar and he 'll make up a plate that i did. in the round a large vegestable plate that meets the point. many roasted pumpkin, savoured, potato cookies, honey carrots etc was nice. When I waited for work friends to arrive at the restaurant, I heard that the kitchen printer went out and I asked the young lady behind the bar is that staff meals she said no, we make the whole day eat. The thing we like at the colmslie is that it presents many options. they can eat there for a cheap bistro style, drinks and play the pool, or even a half-formal dinner. they try, and for the greatest part, successful. their brats are huge and very popular by our nana. lately we went here to Christmas dinner and all enjoyed their meal. one of the more unique dishes was their roasted and lychee salat, which was surprisingly delightful. the service is always fast and pleasant. while it won't be to bang her socks, it's quality pub style eating.

Beautiful ambiente and layout, eating was ok steak underboils a little. pretty standard pub food in the beer garden area. service was pleasant and modern. be careful with the buffets are not very well cooked or taste

It's been better since the last time. hotel quality eating, good, but not great. not our first choice, but ok for a change. many parking spaces.

The restaurant looks outdated and could use a good clean. When you walk in there is a please wait to be seated sign but it seems no one pays any attention leaving you standing there looking a bit silly. When we were being seated they didn't bother asking us wether we would like a drink. It then took about 7 minutes before we finally got served, but not after needing to call the non observant waitress first. After ordering we noticed multiple tables that came in after us getting their food before us, while we where only a party of 2.
