Shan e Punjab - Morley

Second visit to Pappadums last night. First time dining in. Such friendly staff and very tasty food! Worth a visit :)

Decided to have some tandoor chicken on a wintery night but not dine in just takeaway as it was to cold to go out.Have eaten a few months ago at this establishment and must say the food is very authentic Indian fare. Ordered some Tandoori chicken, lamb koftas and a prawn marsala curry with five naan breads. The food was well cooked and presented in foam takeaway containers with an accompaniment of salads and chutneys. Would not hesitate to recommend the place, but it is undergoing some renovations at the moment, so take away is the only current option.

Thought we would try the Shan & Punjab for take away as we are lovers of Indian food and we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about but the food is really lovely and you can see the chefs cooking it while you wait. We had the lamb madras and butter chicken. Nice amount of lamb and tandoori chicken. Both dishes had lovely spices and taste was great. Rice was ok and the garlic naan was also very nice. This was our first time for take away and it will not be the last. 8/10

Pass this place a lot and it always seems empty. On Saturday night there was a few customers there. We gave it a go. The food was pretty good and as you would expect it got to the table reasonably fast. The down side was the wait staff. It would not do any harm to smile and welcome customer. In my opinion restaurants like this should not charge corkage. They need every competitive edge they can get.

Best Indian I have had in Perth ever well done keep it up! Korma was awesome can't wait to try more of the menu is a little pricey but well worth it
