Golden Leaf Chinese Restaurant - Morley

Dim sum-wise, this place is the best in the area.  Attentive service.  Classy decor.  Siumai's and rice flour rolls were tasty.  Standout dish was the baked bbq pork puffs - wow.  Restaurant score will be revised as I try more items next time. A testament to the restaurant that all large tables were full at 2pm on a weekend.  Come earlier to avoid disappointment of items selling out.

As many others have highlighted, the service here is really not the best and the interior is fairly bland and boring. Food is okay, I was expecting a little more but that was because I set my expectations fairly high. I believe this place has the potential to truly transform and become an excellent place to have meals.

Have been to this restaurant many times have found on occasion the service received by staff to be snappy and rude. I phoned in an order last night I was very clear with what I wanted and and what I items I wanted taken out of the dish. When asked what noodle I wanted in my soup I replied "the soft noodles " not the fried, the woman laughed speaking in Chinese to someone else I asked what are you laughing about what is so funny she did not reply I found this to be extremely rude and condescending. After picking up my order I was only to find it was completely incorrect I had ordered a combination noodle soup with no seafood and extra chicken with the noodles in a separate container as well as the broth in a separate container what I got was seafood swimming in broth and a few vegetables. I rang the restaurant back as they had got my order incorrect the previous week the woman told me I had to come back down and they would recoil it for me I took my order back down and got a refund I think I've given this restaurant enough chances they need to change the attitude towards western customers and understand what people are saying the excuse of i misunderstood what you said it is a pretty lame

Dim sum is good in the mornings. Definitely on par with what you get in Asian countries. Our regular spot but can be a tad busy at times which isn't really a bad thing
