Shoney's - Morgantown

The server was really great and nice. The food was delicious. Great place for every occasion. Absolutely loved.

Overall food service was ok, but the Father's day buffet was overpriced considering the limited selections offered...no steak or real seafood, only meatloaf and fried whitefish, but the spareribs were really tender juicey with the perfect amount of BBQ sauce. Also the greenbeans were mushy, horribly overcooked and over saturated with seasonings....

Had the hot chicken sandwich and didn’t expect much. Especially in the way of heat, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was super tasty and juicy. The heat was obvious from the very first bite till the last. If you have a weak stomach or sensitive to heat don’t buy this it’ll get you. Compared to other Shoney's, I found this one lacking. The food selection never changes. They always try to push the menu options on you. The food bar is small and the atmosphere is meh at best. Skip it and go to Bob Evans nearby.

Good buffet and waitstaff but there hours have become so limited it's difficult to visit. Be aware they charge a 4% fee for credit cards and can't currently accept Shoneys gift cards.
