フィードバックを提供するWhat a fantastic discovery! Despite some mixed reviews, I decided to give it a try and boy, am I glad I did. This place serves authentic Japanese cuisine with generous portions. The service was fast and friendly, and the cold beer and wine were perfect after a swim. It's a shame that some negative reviews came from people who didn't even eat here, because they missed out on a truly delicious meal. I had the pleasure of meeting David, who was welcoming and still works at this gem of a restaurant.
I suggest going early instead of during peak hours at this restaurant. My group visited three times and found the black pepper beef to be incredibly tender and highly recommended. The overall food was very delicious!
I give this restaurant a solid 5-star rating because it completely met my expectations. Unlike some other reviewers who were expecting more from an island restaurant, I actually expected the opposite: average food at a high price. Fire and Stone delivered exactly that, and I would even give them an extra half star for the generous portion sizes. Anyone who thinks a resort restaurant on an island will serve Michelin-quality meals needs a lesson in supply and demand economics.
We had dinner at the Vietnamese side , the dishes were good , flavour and portions good too. Brisket noodles and beef with oyster sauce done good. Nothing to complaint after a full beach day.
Only the Stone side Japanese was open and we had a fantastic meal there. We had the starter combo and Salmon Lava. Both were delicious. Staff were great and meals arrived very quickly. Would be keen to try the Fire side of the restaurant if we get a chance.
