If you are tourist in Morelia this place is a MUST! It is off the alley from Tarascas fountain on the way to the church of San Diego. EVERYTHING that you order is awesome. My favorites are eggs Benedict or Florentine. My family likes chilaquiles. The bread and coffee are awesome! So fresh!
I liked this place. It has a very interesting menu with a good variety of dishes and pastries. Gluten free options available. The breakfasts are available until 2:00pm, which makes it great for brunch. I had a crepe with cheese, ham and spinach, which was only ok, but my friends had some eggs, smoothies and a club sandwich that were very good. Coffee is good too. Nice staff. I would go back to try something else, but I would order a crepe again.
We came here often while walking and sitting on the stone benches along La Calzada Fray Antonio San Miguel) promanade also called The Alley of Romance) at the beginning of the Aqueduct! Always enjoyed a cappuccino with one of the excellent pastries! The bakery has a French flair and have always enjoyed European bakeries. Service was very good with friendly staff! We would also take out a few things for a picnic later on in the park which was always a special treat. We will return on our next visit to Morelia!
There are a few Origos. The one near the walk street, across from the church is the best, I think. Best croissants you'll have anywhere in Mexico! For sure!!! French chef created! The food in most restaurants in Morelia is not consistent. Here it's pretty consistent, but not completely. Still a great place and the service is fine.
